Austin Vascular Specialists is a medical and surgical practice that is composed of physician specialists who are board-certified in Vascular Surgery and Phlebology. Phlebology is the field of medicine that focuses on the diagnosis and management of vein diseases throughout the body. Our Austin vein specialists have been serving the Austin and Round Rock community at the vein clinics and hospitals for over 10 years. Dr. Gotvald, our founder and director, is certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine (ABVLM) as a Phlebologist and Vein Specialist.  He is also residency and fellowship trained in Vascular Surgery, as certified by the American College of Surgeons and the Society for Vascular Surgery.

We evaluate your anatomy with detailed imaging using a combination of duplex ultrasound, CT venography, MR venography, and catheter venography.
